On Friday July 4, the community of Gingolx launched its entry into the upcoming canoe journey that will take place this July in Bella Bella.
In a moving reaffirmation of the Ayuuk, members from all four of the Nisga’a tribes spoke to the participants, giving them encouragement, prayers for safe travels, and advice for their long journey.
Their boat will be accompanied by a fishing boat which may eventually supply us with film footage of their travels.
